Miyashita Brewery has been producing award-winning Sake for over a century (since 1915) while recently opening Okayama Distillery in 2015, congruently releasing gold medal genuine Japanese Whisky. To commemorate this progression from traditional Sake to authentic Whisky, Miyashita Brewery produces this western spirit barrel-aged Sake; a true culmination of their 100-year history and tireless ingenuity. Subtle raisin and prune flavors from the Oloroso Sherry casks peek through the rice sweetness. Rich, nutty, and fig-like notes indicative of a classic Sherry.
